LOCATION:
Wellness Playground is returning to Costa Rica!! We were there in January 2020, and we are so excited to return. This time, as a collaboration with Abby Jacob, a most talented and wonderful Bhakti Yoga instructor and her husband Aldo, who will be offering inspirational surf lessons.
We will be spending one magical week at The Bodhi Tree, a beautiful, luxury, eco-resort on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It is nestled in the foothills of Nosara, and just a short walk to pristine beaches and world class surfing. Wake up with the howler monkeys, meditate beside peaceful streams and enjoy the constant symphony of the jungle all around.
This resort has exquisite accommodations with modern Balinese furnishings, beautifully designed bathrooms, high ceilings and luxurious bedding.
MEALS
We will be treated to 3 delicious, healthy meals each day. Many of the ingredients harvested from the organic gardens on property. All dietary needs can be easily accommodated. Organic wine and artisanal beer are available for purchase with your meals. Apart from the included meals, the decadent juice bar is available, offering fresh squeezed juices, smoothies, kombuchas, salads, snacks and sweets.
CLASSES
Our classes throughout the week will include, Bhakti Yoga, AcroYoga, Aerial Yoga, slacklining, Thai massage, and more. They will take place in the most gorgeous studios you have ever seen. We absolutely love these spaces!
A COLLABORATION OF TALENTS!
Anastasia and Laura have been teaching together for over a decade, both certified massage therapists, Thai therapists, aerialists, performers and instructors, they share a passion for playful movement practices. At this retreat, they will be teaching classes in AcroYoga, Aerial Yoga, Laughter Yoga, Slacklining & Thai Massage. All classes are open to everyone. No experience needed. Just bring a curious mind and a playful heart.
Each morning, Abby will teach a dynamic Bhakti Vinyasa Flow class for all levels. Through a combination of breathwork, chanting and posture, she will hold space for you to open your body and heart. A multi level class structure offers the opportunity for newer students to learn fundamentals as well as advanced students to challenge their practice. Her sequencing is well structured to safely open your body and build your strength. With the combination of breathwork and chanting, one will open and clear the energetic systems of the body to pave the way to a blissful experience.
Surf lessons with Aldo!
This class is for beginners and intermediate-level students. The goal is for you to feel comfortable, have fun, and catch waves. Starting on the ground and then adventuring into the ocean, you will cultivate the skills and confidence to surf. You will also learn to observe the signals of the ocean waters which will improve your discernment of the it. Nature is constantly moving, with this, we remember, we can move with it if we observe and understand that we are one with it.

ACCOMODATIONS:
We will be staying in beautifully designed, bright rooms with soft sheets and canopied beds. All rooms have free wi-fi, a/c, and daily housekeeping. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the jungle all around you as you relax in your room.
Choose between a spacious, luxury bungalow with balcony, or a smaller, more economical room. Any room you choose is beautiful, clean, and unbelievably comfortable. Rooms can be private, or shared among a group of up to 4. Couples, trios and quad groups must register together to reserve preferred room.

We require a non-refundable deposit of $500 in order to reserve space in the retreat. No space will be held without the deposit. This can be paid by Zelle to wellnessplayground@gmail.com, cash or check. The full balance is due by February 1, 2024. Payment plans are available if needed, just let us know how we can help!
OUR CANCELLATION POLICY:
Any cancellation will result in a minimum loss of $500 USD. Any cancellation made between February 1, 2024 and the trip departure will result in a total loss of funds. However, if you are able to fill your spot with another participant, we will refund you in FULL, minus the deposit.
We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum (if we do so, your deposit is refunded in full).
